LJ and NJ

This is a painting of a sunrise in Iceland. Reference photo was taken by Norma on her trip there last year. The painting is going to be part of a project which combines both visual art and music. I wanted to paint something that would project a calm mood — to go with a piece of very calm music. I lightened up the painting purposely, as in addition to the calmness i also i wanted it to project a sense of the positive— thus the brighter yellows. I might still adjust the color of the clouds, to make them just a little lighter — will decide that soon.
